Ubisofts Open Ended Racing Game ‘The Crew’ is Here

Ubisofts Open Ended Racing Game ‘The Crew’ is Here

Ubisofts Open-ended racing game, The Crew, features onto multiple
platforms in stores this week. This game features a large open-ended
online world setting of the United States with a coast-to-coast drive
time of one and a half real-time hour, with options of single and
multiplayer side-by-side. The games campaign mode is claimed to be a 20
hour long experience and because of the persistent nature of the game’s
world, multiplayer is not separate from single player.

The Immersive Game-play Features Online and Offline Capability

The Online gameplay introduces many new tricks where you can team up
with friends and strangers altogether to complete missions which makes
the game a much more fun-filled experience to enjoy. The Online Servers
of the Game can be expected to be up and running the same day midnight
on which it is set to be released in different parts of the world and
the publisher has confirmed free content updates for the game after its
launch. The game is not just all about racing, the players can modify
their cars and add capabilities coupled with the availability of
pre-modified cars. The gameplay is quite challenging with different
aspects of driving brought together to create a comprehensive experience
with bonus and score points marked on different challenges.

The Game Passed Beta Testing

The beta testing phase of this game was much more important as it was
an online server game and can possibly be harder to rectify. A lead
worker on The Crew is confident of the games stability after its
release. Online server and network errors have hit quite a few game this
year and it will be quite interesting to see Ubisoft trying to recover
from the Assassins Creed: Unity rocky launch where they had to issue
public apologies and authorize free games to season pass owners because
of the big amount of customer following and loyalty of the game. But the
developers seem quite confident about the stability of the game as
Serkan Hasan said “For The Crew, we’ve reaped the benefits of a long
term beta program, designed specifically to push our infrastructure as
far as possible in real world situations, with thousands of players from
all over the world playing the game at the same time.”

“The launch of any online game these days has potential issues,
but I hope that players will be encouraged by our open approach. If you
had any doubts that we could pull this off, I hope that the betas proved
our credentials and the game’s stability.”
He added pointing out
the possible unforeseeable problems that exist in today’s
environment.Lets just hope for a stable launch for the Ubisoft team and
of course a good gaming experience for us.
The game ships across North America and Europe region on December 5,
2014 available on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC and the PlayStation 4.
